What a day....

FYI: I will probably post this a few times a week - If you would like to help me out without hurting yourself, all help is welcome, but the easiest for you would be to click those ads by google to the right and down the page a little...That is my AdSense. I am hoping to get a little cash that way to to help with my crafts and everything. It would DEFINITELY be e appreciated.

Hey you all...How's it going today? It is HOT HOT HOT here...so I am spending my day inside for most of it. I have gotten more work on the quilt done. I've had a heck of time on it so far. I woke up early with Nathan as he had to get ready for work so around 8:30am I started working on the quilt. It was about 9:10am when I broke my first needle on my machine. Ugh. I was freaking out because it was my great grandmothers machine and I wasn't sure if anyone would have the right needles for it. I went to 2 craft and sewing shops before deciding to bite the bullet and go to Wal*Mart. I was in luck. Unfortinately they were $2.11 for 4 needles...but they work great...Here is how far I've gotten so far...

It is 8 ft 7 inches wide and 3 ft 6 & 1/2 inches from top to bottom.
I told you all that I would post belly pix today...so here are 2, please don't mind the mess in the background...My room is horrible lol.
I've gained almost 10 pounds and have my second dr. appointment on next Monday. We haven't decided yet if we want a second sonogram to figure out the gender since we would have to pay for it and we are not 100% sure how much it will be. (my insurance only covers for one) That and the fact that we already own the office almost $100....I'm not wild about adding onto all that.
With the crafts and all, I found out some really great news this morning. I guess in town they have like farmers markets only for crafts and what not and the booths are free. I've thought about selling some of my stuff there...But I want to get a site set up for my business and get some business cards made...But I am having a really hard time trying to figure out a good name for it...ugh. I've also got to get labels ready for my body scrubs I am going to make. I'm also thinking about throwing some lotions, bath salts, and candles in the mix... What do you think?
Well I don't know what else to post so I will get off of here. Hope you are all staying pretty cool on this really hot day. My weather bug says its already 99 degrees...ugh.

What's wrong with "Amber Rose" as the name for your business? It could cover anything you make, quilts, soap, etc.

It's not even 60 degrees here in Bellingham, light rain, clouds and sun. I'm wearing a fleece vest inside the apartment.

    Nice tummy, BTW!

I agree with DJan, I think Amber Rose is a beautiful name. Your quilt is coming along great. Sorry about the broken needle, what a hassle. I wouldn't think a 2nd sonogram would be necessary as long as you're not having any problems. Back when I was pregnant (27 years ago) we never had any sonograms. A craft farmer's market is a great idea and you can make your own business cards. Get some Avery blank cards at Staples or WalMart and then Avery has instructions on how to do it and they have a site with pictures, etc. Good luck. The belly looks cute.
Thank you for the sweet comment on my guys

I have some super wonderful business cards for almost free from VistaPrint. They have maybe a hundred free ones, you just pay for the shipping (maybe $10). Give it a try at www.vistaprint.com and let me know if this works for you!

Gee, it sounds like you've already got a name for the business! Amber Rose is a nice one! The craft market sounds like a great place to market your things too!

Your belly definitely looks prego and not fat! I was pregnant 35 yrs ago. We only did those test if something was really wrong! So if you don't mind not knowing what color to paint the nursery... Why spend the extra cash?

For the business cards, I agree about the Avery stock. You print one sheet at a time and tear them apart. You can add a picture of your own products on one side and print on the other.

Of course, if you go through a lot, it's probably cheaper to buy them than print them yourself.
